RETAINING WALL
This retaining wall project consisted of a 40-foot wall including drainage openings. Existing sod, soil, and tree root excavation was conducted. The wall was built right with over 3-feet of excavation inside the area. After excavation, the area was tiled and filled with class 5 gravel to provide proper drainage. Anchor Diamond retaining wall blocks were used (grey – 54 lb each measuring 17-3/4 in. L x 10 in. W x 6 in. H). Diamond retaining wall systems create flexible, cost-effective solutions for a broad range of commercial and residential projects. The blocks were cut as needed, leveled, and anchored with adhesive. The project was backfilled with topsoil and seeded.
