This sodding project consisted of 12,000 total square feet of Kentucky bluegrass and covered both the front and back yard. The area was cleared of leaves, sticks, clumps of roots, and dead grass. A rotary tiller was used to soften the existing soil. To prevent the new sod from dying, the entire area was sprayed with watered prior to sod placement. The sod was placed using offset seams and trimmed accordingly. After placement, the entire area was watered again. A sod roller was used to compact the sod to the existing soil as well as remove any pockets of air.
